Bashar al-Assad, Boo Yah!

Post by stilltrucking » April 18th, 2012, 7:54 am

Woke up at two am from a dream about Syria and Assad. I went back to sleep and the dream continued. Long dream left me thinking about how little I know about anything. Woke up thinking "Bashar al-Assad, Boo Yah!"

I got dem eye witness news blues again.
The international community, oh yeah.
God save the queen.

The longer I live the less and less I know for sure.
That is what I have for wisdom these days.

dreams are dreams, they are ok!

and for the "international" daily news about Syria since more than a year... wonder why Al-Assad is molesting righteous-democratic-Occident more than the saudi & eastern friends kings ...?? so economically & estrategically visible to me!. I hope the country won´t end devastated ...

Such a helpless hopeless dream
Like seeing the world through the eyes of a patagonian

but there was another element to the dream that I enjoyed.
the dream was about writing about the dream
I like to dream about writing
one my favorite dreams maybe after dreams about the sea, maybe my favorite dreams of all.

hopefully the violence will stop any minute now.

RE: Patagonian

I forgot the quotation marks.
Pain has no more secret receses.

….let us try to look at it with the eyes of a Patagonian for whom all that is sacred and taboo in our world is meaningless.

Anais Nin Preface to Tropic of Cancer 1934
Fear has no secrete recesses in my dreams
Sometimes I try to imagine if I would have the courage to sail through the straigts of magellan.
Something to think about when I get weary of real politic

reminds me of an old top forty song from my youth

"Is that all there is"

Real Politic, neoliberalism, a culture of fear
is that all there is
lets keep dancing

Well there it is
she issued an Ultimatum
That should help
Sooner or later the violence will end
It is enough to make me feel like the Aztec gods still rule.

I am trying to remember a time when the international situation was not desperate. Not since 1947 I guess cause that is when the "Doomsday Clock" was set in motion
