As groups of children gathered around her, Abu Rokba, who would give only her nickname, said, “The Jews are hurt, we are hurt. If they lose a child, they cry. If we lose a child, we cry. It is the same. My own wish is only peace and security.”
It is not the message of the Hamas leadership, as it prepares for an expansive celebration in December to mark the 25th anniversary of a movement classified as a terrorist organization by the United States and Israel.

Fatah leader, Abbas, gives Hamas "the bird" as he gets Palestinians United Nations observer status.

I hope it is a step in the right direction.
sorry
I deleted a couple of replies to you cause I felt like I was raining on your parade, one was to your post about Chief Looking Horse, I could not find much about him on wicki, most of the sites I found were his self promoting ones. A couple by a family that claimed there were the keepers of the sacred pipe and he was a fraud. I guess he could be a fraud and still write some cool stuff. Never thought of checking him out till athequa said something about it.
I forget what the other one was about Obama I think.
Oh yeah the the line about the nattering naysayers of negativity.
what were you doing
Channeling Spiro Agnew

Definitely my own phrasing: My words were "Let's see some of the naysayers on this site admit that they were wrong about Obama & the pulse of the American voters.
"
I'll say no more because I will be off topic... Incidentally, Hamas was always full of it.
Thanks, Still Trucking, for getting back to me in real time...Along with most westerners,
I like the Palestinian Fatah faction better...

I don't know much about them. That was Yasser Arafat's party I think.
I read that his body is being exhumed because somebody found polonium on his hair brush. I don't like the sound of that.
Syria has moved its chemical weapons and in NY City a cop bought a pair of shoes for a homeless shoeless man.
I am a news junky god "dang me they ought to take a rope and hang me."

Fatah is also Abbas' party, within the Palestinian factions.
It is the least radical
of the two main parties of the Palestinians.
