Let's just do the Ayn Rand thing.
Government is Evil & Inefficient,
Self Interest is Holy, & if you lose,
you lose, unless yr. "rich" enough,
then you get a $$$ Bailout, and if
you win, you pimp office for $$$.
Huh, I guess we need Government
after all, Angsters & Gangsters,
one and all.

For the other 99 percent,
come the crash, tough luck.
You didn't know the Money Code.
You should've worked harder...

Constitution? Checks? Balances?
Screw It All. Except maybe the Checks.
POWER AND MONEY ARE THE ONLY THINGS THAT MATTER.

Who's With Me?
Who Wants Greatness?
Just Punch A Goddam Button
And Your Vote Might Be Counted,
Especially If You Shout LOUD Enough,
IT'S ALL CAPS NOW, Who's ANGRY AT
ALL THIS BULLSHIT, At All These BROWN
PEOPLE COMING IN TO STEAL OUR JOBS,
THOUGH THE PRESIDENT EMPLOYS THEM
LIBERALLY AT HIS RESORTS, but SHOUTING
IS LIKE BREATHING, AND WE'RE NATURALLY
DRAWN TOWARD DICTATORSHIPS, IT DOESN'T
MATTER THE FACTS, THEY DON'T REALLY EXIST.
ALL THAT EXISTS NOW IS THE SHOUTING.

Of course, we do, lions and tigers and bears and "Government is not the solution...government is the problem

cut and paste
The Brainwashing of My dad.
As Jen Senko tries to understand the transformation of her father from a nonpolitical Democrat to an angry Republican fanatic, she uncovers the forces behind the media that changed him completely: a plan by Roger Ailes under President Richard Nixon for a media takeover by the Republicans, the 1971 Powell Memo urging business leaders to influence institutions of public opinion (especially the media, universities, and courts), the 1987 dismantling of the Fairness Doctrine under President Ronald Reagan, and the signing of the 1996 Telecommunications Act under President Bill Clinton. The documentary aims to show how the media and the nation changed, which leads to questions about who owns the airwaves, what rights listeners and watchers have, and what responsibility the government has to keep the airwaves fair, accurate, and accountable.

please excuse my jew boy paranoia
as I wait for the shoe to drop because we all know who is to blame
sooner or later the boys from brazil all seem to agree that the enemies of CHRIST are the ones to blame it on.
Blame what?
Nietzsche died for our sins.

Don't mind me I am high happy as a clam
It is time for a new amendment: one that protects us from the freedom of the press!

Donald Trump Is Bad for the Jews
By Paul Krugman
The Trump administration is, beyond any reasonable doubt, an anti-democratic, white nationalist regime. And while it is not (yet) explicitly anti-Semitic, many of its allies are: “Jews will not replace us” chanted the “very fine people” carrying torches in Charlottesville, Va. You have to be willfully ignorant of the past not to know where all this leads. Indeed, it’s happening already: anti-Semitic incidents have soared (and my hate mail has gotten … interesting.)

And the (surprising!) number of people voting for him? What does it mean?? All this talk of "Deep State" and "Hoaxes" and "Draining the Swamp" and "Abuse of Power" (now THERE'S A GOOD ONE!), it's all just one big Wrestlemania now, where everything's fake and true at the same time... Hallucinate your own Constitution..

...In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons...who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.”
Edward L. Bernaysl Quoted in The Brainwashing of My Dad

Sometimes I think about your dad and fox news and his mustang.
"All we can do is love them"

Do you ever get the feeling that we are having too much fun?

The Law is for Suckers. If you're powerful enough, there is no Law. It's always been that way. Fuck that gradeschool Civics class-- what a bunch of Disneyfied crap that was. It was never real.

Politicians are above the law/
INTERVIEWER: You don’t have much use for politics?

MILLER: None whatever. I regard politics as a thoroughly foul, rotten world. We get nowhere through politics. It debases everything.

INTERVIEWER: Even political idealism of Orwell’s sort?

MILLER: Especially that! The idealists in politics lack a sense of reality. And a politician must be a realist above all. These people with ideals and principles, they’re all at sea, in my opinion. One has to be a lowbrow, a bit of a murderer, to be a politician, ready and willing to see people sacrificed, slaughtered, for the sake of an idea, whether a good one or a bad one. I mean, those are the ones who flourish.

I always wanted to use the expression, "it begs the question" in a sentence.
Can we have a government without politicians?

Well then HELL NO, as long as it can be 'reasonably' argued that if we'd kept on electing 'Left' leaders we'd still be back in the covered wagon days, because SUPPOSEDLY THEY ("The Left," I mean) DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO HAVE JOBS.
And this is where "THE GOVERNMENT" has some emerging "karma" issues to deal with. I'll just leave it at that.

If it didn't matter who was the President, then the nightmarish changes that have come after Obama left office, and Trump stole in, would be negligible. They are not.

So it does matter. Who is president. Who is in Congress. Who the local mayor of your town is. Who the cop is who comes to your car door with his flashlight.

Power exists among humans, and some use it kindly, and some use it very very badly. It's not very difficult to tell the difference.

Government does not solve the problems of being human, or mortal, but it can help some. Or it can hurt. But it exists, and anyone who tells me that every politician is like every other, I will just say from now till forever: "Donald FUCKING Trump."

Of course. But there's this too:

Obviously "our" Blowhard Gangster-in-Chief must go. Holy shit, 101. Seems like decades of abuse in the world community will be much harder to put behind us.
