The things I see and hear...
"Experts warn of substantial risk of WMD attack. New survey predicts 70 percent chance of attack in next decade." This report in today from Senator Lugar (R).
"The number of registered lobbyists in Washington has more than doubled since 2000 to more than 34,750 while the amount that lobbyists charge their new clients has increased by as much as 100 percent." Read in MSNBC.com
PBS Frontline - an indepth news report about the "Contractor Army" and the amazing cost the U.S. is paying for civilian protection in Iraq and other hotbed countries - 10 times or more than what the U.S. military makes.
Same program revealed that a huge supply base was under construction in Iraq six months before the war begun!
Fox News is the most watched news network in the U.S.!!! Good grief...!!!
The evangelicals adore George W. Bush. He speaks their language (which at times is very similar to speaking in tongues).
The major news media, Fox, Cnn, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC... on and on... pay no attention to the Downing Street Memos, as if they were totally irrelevent, despite the fact that the memos could easily overthrow Bush & Co.
The national debt is at an all time high with no end in sight and the Administration continues to spend money supporting Halliburton and other cronies.
The biggest news story on T.V. is an 11 year old cub scout that was found after being lost for 3 days.
J.E.B. Bush will not let go of Terri Schivo.
Bill Clinton and John Kerry are mum on anything this administration is doing.
The Progressive Newswire reports (6/20) - "WASHINGTON - June 20 - Nine out the 30 companies that comprise the Dow Jones Industrial Index are convicted corporate criminals, according to a report released today by Corporate Crime Reporter." And the influence peddling runs the country all the same.
PBS Chairman, Ken Tomlinson (hired by Bill Clinton!), is doing everything in his power to overturn the programming to mimmick the Republican Party Line.
Even though there are free elections in Iran, Bushco is horny to attack Tehran, despite the fact the current military manpower is far short of even sustaining the current wars they are involved in (Hey, no problem.. there are plenty of folks willing to fight in "Contractor Armies"!)
... and the bullshit keeps stacking up, higher and higher, faster and faster.
Any solutions.. or are we all going down together? Is there any voice of reason out there or are we all fucking nuts? Stay tuned! The show can only get more preposterous!
