Petroleum wars

I used to think that things wouldn't get serious before ALL the petrol runs out.
But just like the human body doesn't need to be totally drained of water before death ensues, only a certain deficit in oil needs to be attained before things start going poof.
Some experts say it'll be in 2 years time.
And why shouldn't it?
We use petrol for transport, shipping and moving people, food, goods, etc.
We use petrol to make just about anything out of plastic. We use petrol to make energy. We use petrol to build swimming pools, to make computer chips and to build roads.
The demands are also exponantial.
Everyone's turning a blind eye from this, and few are those who are taking serious measures against it. Why? Because media channels are underbroadcasting the problem. This is of course due to the oil lobbying. People are misinformed and therefore don't react.

There's been a US project to make hydrogen cars but Bush&co made sure that the hydrogen production remained dependent on oil (they extract the hydrogen from oil and natural gas).

So here you have it. Soon we'll be dehydrated in oil, to a point where a mass reaction is going to happen. Nobody knows when, not because the problem doesn't exist but because the information is kept underground. And because people are so poorly informed, it'll take them completely by surprise and it might result in trauma, tantrums, people ripping each other's heads off for whatever's left, etc.

Do you have any thoughts about this? Are you doing something to soften the fall? Do you think I'm over reacting?

Isn't this why BushCo invaded Iraq? The world's 2d largest oil reserve needs to be controlled by the most powerful country... how else can the most powerful remain powerful - it takes alot of power to be powerful. The U.S. will not leave Iraq for a long, long time unless someone else usurps them.

China is becoming very powerful... the future..?
