Bird Flu, military quarentines?

Does this alarm anyone? Military quarentines?
My God, what is this insane government concocting up for us now?
This is just outrageous!
They are more into military restraint than coming up with a vaccine!
I mean there's got to be a more humane way to deal with this, isn't there?
This is terrorism on us!

"You've possibly been exposed to the bird flu ma'am. There are reports of it in this area. You can't leave here".
"But sir, I'd like to get away from here, maybe i'm not exposed yet and if I could just leave then I could perhaps avoid getting this flu"
"Sorry ma'am, but if you try to leave this area we'll have to kill you"

Some nights I fall asleep to the BBC World Service. Just as I was drifting off to sleep I heard this this bit, "if we act now we can avoid 150 million dead" Vaccines are not good business they say. Not enough profit margin.

Depends on how the virus mutates from birds to humans. And I have visions of a movie about The Birds. I have not heard about the military quarantine.

Makes me want to head on down to KFC.

This goverment is making me stupid.

What can we do do get this maniac and his cronies out of office?

I mean Harriet Miers? Who the hell is she?
Only the Presidunces's longtime personal lawyer, the one who gets him out of being charged with crimes, and then forces others to keep mum about them. She's his crimeguard.
Christ, every one of his gang is appointed on a "payback" for hiding something criminal.
I'm goin crazy here today. I spent a few hours the day before last, training at the local homeless shelter where I managed to pick up a few hours of work. I worked with that agency alot 5 years ago, and I can't believe how it's gone downhill. They have more homeless, (duh!) and less funding. This is true of the Mental health home I picked up a few hours at too. It's gruesome. The jobs are horrible and pay minimum wage for maximum work duty. Chaos, filth. I'm working all day sunday at the shelter and I intend to clean it the hell up. Underpaid, inexperienced, and depressed staff. And, they've got some woman who shows up at the shelter every sunday morning and forces the folks reduced to living there to go to church whether they want to or not!

At this point I'm just praying for someone to come and save me.
A knight on a Lexus horse......or A sister of mercy. An intentional banking error in my favor......etc......
