So we all know that Iran is gonna develope weapons despite its insistence that the shit is legit. and only for 'research' and 'energy' purposes. bullshit. if you believe that, you'd believe that Bush cares about Iraqi democracy!

SO WHAT IF ANYTHING CAN AND SHOULD BE DONE, AND BY WHOM?


I think a good solution would be for all countries to agree to submit to international monitoring or else dismantle their arsenals, the U.S. included, but that'll not happen anytime soon.

because of course this is just a response to amongst other things the Bush admin.'s bone-headed manouever of naming Iran a part of the Axis o' Evil and then, of course, the posturing of N. Korea and of course the message sent to the world by the invasio of Iraq that the U.S. will invade hom it wants, as an imperial force, unless of course you got awesome defense which clearly Iraq didn't.

So, i repeat, wha the heck is gonna happen? And should the U.S. even be an influential, or high profile player, or woyld that simply exaccerbate the problem given Bush's tyrranical image?

what's gonna happen? when iran gets close to developing the bomb, the us will send in some fighter jets and blow up the facility.

and you know what. . . even though i lean way left of center i probably would have a hard time disagreeing.

what forms of retaliation do u think that might provoke?

i just keep wondering why iran isn't allowed to have nuclear power

the word is nonproliferation.


but, really we should wonder why is the U.S. allowed to have nukes given that it has actually used such weapons against human targets.

We should worry about a country that's been pushing the "nuclear" issue every since 1945. I'm talking the USA has put the world in more peril then any other nation on earth.
