Civil War, Iraqi style

It already is a civil war in iraq. so, why do all the talking heads 'n' pundits talk about the danger of it becoming one?

does something mysterious convert it into a civil war (like when the US army bugs outta there a few dayz later)?

It may not be as BIG a war as it maybe will be but that don't mean it aint already a civil war. How many people gotta die before the press and leaders call it what it is?

As far as i know a civil war's when one group in a coun try fights one or more other groups from the same country. sounds pretty much like what's going on. the fact that foreign occupation forces are involved, like the US and foreign fighters on the other side, don't contradict that essential fact.

well, that makes any violence in a country a civil war, doesn't it? all you have to be is a group (one or more, supposedly) fighting another group, all inside one country

i don't know...i can't see what is going on there as a civil war, but the muslim world isn't exactly made for western definitions, is it?
