Sandifer is also an avid Wikipedia editor and has had spirited disputes with other Wikipedians over the proper editing of pieces. On a message board for disgruntled Wikipedians, his opponents discussed sending the story to the University administration or police, noting "it wouldn't take much to put him in a position where he either decides to leave Wikipedia or decides that he doesn't need a Ph.D. after all."

Precisely. You forget the head too. But this is something we are confused on. Is the head of the Wikipedia Cabal Slim Virgin or Raul654? And are you, Wikipedia username David Gerard, in the Wikipedia Cabal too? Its all so very mysterious. But yes, Snowspinner should go to jail for his crimes on Wikipedia, not some random false LJ entry that is obviously a joke. But really, I mean Snowspinner should just be banned. Go to jail for booting a few people, changing history, lying his heart out and being an utter bastard? Come on now. Its not that important. Isn't it sad, that people like Jeff Merkey and "HushThis" from the "Let's complain about Wikieditors" board feel that their supposed abuse of their _Wikipedia entries!!!_ is worth trying to ruin someone's life. It's just an entry in an online encylopedia! It's not that important!I personally hope that Wikipedia bans every single writer on that board unless one of them confesses to having "alerted the authorities". I know that'll never happen, but since Wikipedia seems to be so important to them, it should be a good punishment. If reporting an obvious piece of fiction to the police as if it were a confession of a crime wasn't bad enough, "Hushthis" felt a need to spend 4 pages of board posts trying to justify this silliness. Maybe the police could take a look at that person for making a false report to authorities? One can only hope.(Reply to this) (Parent)
