No excuses

There is no excuse for Haditha, much less the entire war.

There is no excuse for allowing Bushco's first betrayal of America in Iraq to have escalated into what it is today.

To not attribute the boiling points of today to initial mistakes of the bush administration is folly. This all began when he and his buddies took over, promising to be christian in thought, word and deed.

Cheap easy promises, made to the known gullible and ignorant.

(It looks like the girl they raped and murdered was 14. She was not a woman, she was a child, same age as my own daughter.)

Why should anyone respect us for letting this happen, making this happen, in the name of democracy?

Shame on us all for watching it, seeing it, and yet long remaining, unable to do anything about it.

No excuses!

Sorry hester I hope I did not sound like I was making excuses. Yup fourteen. Now the we got six soldiers involved.

Sooner or later every private first class and non commissioned officer will be in the brig. When that happens
the generals will be able to conduct the war on honorable terms.
We have the greatest bunch of generals that a country could ask for.

got a song for you hester
You can gaze out the window get mad and get madder,
throw your hands in the air, say "What does it matter?"
but it don't do no good to get angry,
so help me I know

For a heart stained in anger grows weak and grows bitter.
You become your own prisoner as you watch yourself sit there
wrapped up in a trap of your very own
chain of sorrow.
