It gets to a point where more commentary is superfluous, or a collection of broken records, and we're at that point, mostly. I wish us luck. That many broken records can't be wrong....

Just to set the record straight:
Nancy is a Baltimore democrat, her big brother was Thomas D’Alesandro III mayor of Baltimore. Her father was "old: Tommy the most beloved mayor in Baltimore history. The man who brought the Orioles and Colts to Baltimore back in the fifties.
But it took only a little prodding to get her to talk at length about growing up in Baltimore. Pelosi was born Nancy D'Alesandro, daughter of Annunciata and Thomas J. D'Alesandro Jr., better known to Baltimoreans as "Old Tommy." She's the sister of Franklin, Nicholas, Hector, Joseph and Thomas III. (Hector and Joseph are deceased.)

D'Alesandro Jr. was mayor of Baltimore from 1947 to 1959, the man who brought major league baseball and National Football League franchises to Baltimore. Thomas D'Alesandro III - yes, he would be "Young Tommy" - was mayor of Baltimore from 1967 to 1971.

Molly one of my heroes. I been reading her for over twenty years.. I used to read her in the Fort Worth paper before it shut down and then in the Dallas Morning news before she got fired for having too much integrity.

I always enjoy reading her Texas wit. Thanks for posting.
