The only good thing that occurs in wars is that the people who believe in them try to kill each other off. Of course, the shame is that more and more non-combatants are being killed in the process.

THREE STEPS TO END WARS:

'War "fools," not "heroes".'
So long as we honor those who march off to wars past and present, the mental disease will continue to be encouraged as a 'good' and worthy pursuit, rather than the sickness that it is.

'Invading armies are always the villain.'
Whether the 'pre-emptive' attack was innitiated by a Hitler, or a Bush, it should be seen as a crime against humanity. Any leader who continues to support, and not immediately withdraw, their own invading troops should be held equally responsible.

'A world court, with overwhelming enforcement powers.'
No, community can have peace, order, and justice, without courts, and police; likewise the community of nations. Without them planetary anarchy, and all that it creates, is inevitable.
