I remember after 9/11 how everyone was in a flag frenzy. Flags on anything you could put, flags on your car flags everywhere, people waving flags on highway overpasses in many cities across the States, rallying cars as they honked past. I remember tying a piece of flag material to my backpack and roaming around college with it. Years passed, many people's flag frenzy nearly died out. Now I just hate Bush. I cannot wait for November 2008...
I could be silent..but not then.

Oops, this was meant for e-dogs "Vow of Silence" post below. I didn't mean for it to be put as a seperate topic. Egads. Sorry.

trouble with flags is they stay curled up and limp until winds lift them and spread their intent.

those same winds of 9/11 began a war that has desperately frayed our fair flag unable to show in full what it actually meant before bush.
