April
you have entered.
March left me
tired. Shoes worn down
to the soul.
April you have entered.
sans showers
so far.
May you be very kind.
May you wash my hands clean.
May you grant me leisure
for pleasure
to please 'er.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

As vernal aspirations hope
proclaim through mist-suspended airs,
irrupt in bright kaleidoscope

of pyrotechnicolor soap-
and-water-bubble petal flairs—
as vernal aspirations hope

announce in bits of green on taupe
and well, well rested earth, how cares
irrupt in bright kaleidoscope

of choreographies that grope
for beauty— such that beauty bears
as vernal aspirations. Hope

is such an exercise of hope
itself and of its own repairs.
Irrupt in bright kaleidoscope

designs; if bits of glass elope
in careless love that briefly errs
as vernal aspirations, hope

for fleetingly such brilliant scope
of color. Oh, how few affairs
irrupt in bright kaleidoscope

amazement; oh, but how they cope
with joy when hope’s achieved, when theirs
irrupt in bright kaleidoscope
as vernal aspirations’ hope.

love the "kalaidescope" -- "hope" rhyme scheme!

also "taupe" and "grope" and "soap" underused words.

could i'da dunnit?

Nope.

No joke.
In the Words of Dr. Dre,
Take a toke.
But don't choke
'Cause if you do
You'll have No Clue.

Snoop Dog came to do.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

the thing about jammin'
we can dip our minds
into the communal pot
and come up smiling
licking the fingers of
someone else's muse
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

too perfect
april
cool night
clouds drift

looking for the moon
I was the one
who would ask
why is this night different

every april grows more beautiful
ever ready to see the end of the road

with the taste of bitter herbs.

moon struck
April 1962
Rte 32
head lights out
sliding through the curves
on a moon lit road
the road has always owned me

April is such a beatiufl month this year
but is that a function of age?
I am not going to wish for another spring
this one is good enough

Vernal Equinox
Celic crosses
and a little red austin healey sprite

cold front moving through
feels like being alive
back in the land of pleasant living

April 1962

If ever there was a cruel April
T S Eliot got nothing on me

if jota was right
and 'language is a bitch with an ice pick'
got to jam that pick
chip away
at an ice bound heart
jamming with a small circle of friends.

april buries herself in winter,
leastwise 'round these parts.
now don't y'all go and rush the season,
'cause there ain't much season here,
leastwise since april buried herself in winter.

The weather freezes not my skin,
but particles, thoughts, and words within
are dying,
desperate to be free
to swell with flowers,
then turn to flee.
I am like spring all ripe with life.
Though not like spring, my gripes with life are steadily growing.
I am unwittingly unkowing.
My face, admittedly unshowing of the promise of the day.
April, when the sun abounds
The smell of earth and coffe grounds
April when the clouds drip wet
The same way that my panties get
When I see that look in your eyes,
the promise of a fleshy prize
The Diamond of the air
So calm and numbly unaware
Today I rise to my obligation
One blackened piece of civlization
And hope, in earnest to be admired.
And hope, someday, I'll be inspired.
sometimes I just like to breathe.

it's april 5th
and it's snowing

spring comes late
to those who tire
of the wait

like a watched pot
never boiling

love is spring
sometimes cold
at the wrong times
