Some jams spontaneously arrive
like new years, without announcement.

Soon comes the year of the eight.
Let us celebrate!

everydays' a miracle to me.
how old am i?
i lie!
i add 3 years to lessen the shock
when old age creeps up, i'll be so used to it
i'll feel young

that's solstice for ya
tomorrow's always ahead

still at work
it will be dark again when i leave
peaceful quiet darknessed
soothing cool breezes
elation of strength renewed
confirmed resilience
people healing
ninth life living sometimes
and beyond
a hug for one who was criticised who showed courage
the one i supported thru it
who came back from this dark treatment
emerging into light
while slow recalcitrant beings are waking up
with encouragement
very seasonal this process
powerful forces
and we made it good

i'd rather fly into a damn combat zone
than face a pack of wailing banchees
but i did both
we lost the war because we was wrong
but we won in the darkness
rich and sacred night time of the seasons
because we were right

winter solstice
a season for mystical healings

we are all secure
when we have to identify Orion
but nothing more easy
than to find alternative south crosses
(you have to sharp your vision
to see the conventional one
and know where the south is)
meanwhile
free rice in the newspapers
at invisible speed
and warm welcome
to the most iterative & surprising season
dressed in midday white sun
veiling surfaces

in derry new hampshire
there's a megolithic stone ruin
with solstice apertures
and a sacrificial slab

took a nap there once
