The woman in the painting in the blue dress and red hair in need of a back rub.

Interesting painting I did have not thought about i in years, but I picked up a book called Deliberate Regression. Had a bit in there on the artist Millias I think. The painting is called Mariana or something like that.

Based on the poem by Tennyson, called Mariana I think

lady in waiting in deed
About the occupant of the bed room.
In pittsburg I first saw the painting in a little house near the CMU campus where she was a senior in the fine arts program. For years I carried an eidetic image of it but never could find it in any art catologues.

Tall woman about six two, flaming red hair, never forget how her brown eyes smoldered, actually glowed red it seemed. Her hair redder than Mariana's.

Then I found the painting in that book a couple weeks ago.

Yes I am doing the monster mash
monsters from the id.

"rosey cheeked demons" jittler bug

one edit for flow
that should be a no go
but it is done
and so am I.

Oh Jammit!

roll on, new day, bright horizon,
rollin' on idiosyncratic fabric,
pardon my preoccupation,
with the syn-co-pation,
train's left the station,
roll on, jam nation...

when in doubt,
rhyme
time...

left the station
passed location

syncopated rythm
of steel wheels

soft splosh
of words

in the wind
a fading sound

trains long gone
gone with a world

pre ocupation
of time and space

so elastic
me so spatial spastic

high ballin freights
runing late

it ain't petty coat junction
but it functions

I can't think of anything more syncapated then the wabash canon ball

I heard the syncopated clock today
while i was listening to
classical music on the FM radio
I was hearing this

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jyvy0eFkvBg"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jyvy0eFkvBg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

but unfortunately that ain't what was really playing

just my meaty imagination thinking of the wrong song
I am a musical retartd
what more can I say

consciousness is an over ripe meaty tomatato
we toss it back & forth
we wind up with tomato juice in our ears

Blue,
what colar is that
I have read a couple of Pages of The BLue book, I can tell you all about it

i am
that I am
the eternal sophomore
the jack ass of all knowledge
A schmuck
I drove a truck

I could not ryhme
for trying

I want to jam tehatchape
and tonapah

baltimore and
san franscisco

flying carpet and bambu knees
war and peace
taco grease
the golden goose.

I´m not in the mood to bury someone else today
so, try to keep breathing at least until tomorrow, ok? :?
(sorry, it´s only my selfish nasty dark humour again)

flying carpet and bambu knees
lively words, acoustic silence
so much time
somewhere

hurling words not sticks
but sometimes a word sticks

sticks in your mind
sticks to you ribs
sticks in your craw

sticky wicket
batter up

yeah jammit
not to slamit
surely not to dammit

why am I in a hurry
why can't I wait
such a flurry
of words

obsidian words razor sharp
some mello as yellow jello
or as apealing as
yeller snow

words to live bye
die bye
fly by
word that can free you
slave you
forgave you
or fuck you

dammit Janet

Dr Frank N Furter lives.
make you a man in seven days.

geez arcadia jams are weird sometimes
looks like I was replying but I was not to your post
I was posting the one post above this to me as you were posting yours

yes

bambu knees in the philipine islands during world war two
that is what his philipina girl friend called him because of he way his knees looked from kneeling on her bedroom mat.

Years later in baltimore
just before he died
he wished he had stayed there and not come home
or so he told me

I ready
I got my tuxedo on
I am ready
for a funeral
a wedding
a bris
a wake
I am ready ready teddy
for anything

I think I'll walk my dog.

I don't have to worry about old bambu knees
he is safe in heaven dead with kerouac
I have not been to a funeral in years.
they happen so fast in my family
maybe a middle eastern thing
the body got to be in the ground
before the next sunset.

Wake me when I am dead
An Irish wake sounds so cool

** tap tap**
** testing *****
is this thing on?....
ohh... oh, ok....

ummm... ok...

....kick out the jams.
howl at heaven, eclipse the moon!
it's been such a long winter,
holed up, hunkered down,
shrunken space, simmering song.
make a run for it, break out.
(my annual cliche).
say i do.

i confess, i do..
miss the sun-baked wisdom, the heat..
get a lot of mileage out of silent light..
more mileage than needed, turns out,
the far side was always this side, it seems.
i miss the indeterminacy of that space,
the mystery of witness.
a lotta mileage outta it.
too far, perhaps?

i just need to bask for a while;
i'm sure it will all fall into place.
deep breath, a lost trail.
my own cabin fever!

kick 'em out!!
(the jams)........
