and the mood drops by
holds you in its grip
so you go
go
go
hoping to get a sense of what it is
that moves you

brain hits
clicks
so you type a bit
the sound
not quite pleasant
but it holds you

and to be held
if only in the moments tick
allows for some strange
connecting

that gets you by for awhile
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

thanks for a place like this
when cumbersome becomes
burdensome
drop by
type
smile
lie
lay a weary head
cry

dance tunes
turn somersaults
wish for
something more
yet revel in
the this is all there is

let's make the best of it

until the time
you rule the show
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

and I can follow it
my mind used to
how it goes

like a track in the snow
clear
until it whites out
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

oh God
sometimes you need it so
and seeing every letter
line up
march onto the page
you don't know
what you're gonna get
till it sits there

glaring

despairing

opening up the mind

showing

a hidden side

that just as well

could end

right

now

.

rapid fire jam
pushin' thru
to the end of
another jam chapter
fractal
radiating
time for a flurry
no hurry
later i'll be drum jammin'
in the mountains
around a bonfire

every text box like virgin snow
pure white
and then I hit the submit button and it all turns gray

it can be terrifying
to see those tracks end

Eidetic memory
of fear and beauty
Monarch Pass Colorado

Image

Just a flatlander from baltimore
never could get use to those mountains in winter
But I can't forget the beauty
snow flakes the size of hubcaps falling silently
as the sun set
and the realization that I was alone on the mountain.
no tracks in front of me
and none behind

ah shoot
I want these words to behave
give you a beat
some feat
a treat

mona lisa snow flakes
tempt the silence
come play
upon the muse's doorstep
twirl within each moment's
virginity
lay down upon
the white page
to make her
your snow angel

Mountain man
drumming around the campfire
click my ruby slippers together
I want to be there

pushing through
the cloud obscuring
the mountain top
dreaming of
powder blue skies
above
fading into midnight black
the stars spread out
a crescent moon

light the fire
strike the drum
for
a circle of friends

never know
what is coming next
jsut a word a letter a keystorke jitterbug
That is the mystery of
that is the beauty of
jam

i know what's coming next =
a lot of surprises
sounds that were never were, will be
as letters try to match their speed and texture
who know? no one, yet
we all know what's gonna happen

through a glass darkly
just over the horizion of thought
bubbling up like messages in a magic eight ball
black tracks
chicken scratches
on clay tablets
cunieform
hieroglyph
petrogyphs
bits and bytes
dashes and dots
such a communicative animal
sounds of silence
blowing in the wind

what is schlepping towards Bethlehem

let it be peace

Sorry I missed this.
westcoast wrote

I love that
it is true
we re-virgify
moment to moment
my father's hell
is just a good-bye.

too much testosterone
too much Homer
"Anger be now your song, immortal one"
Athene could make war so lovely
She must be the official muse of the USA

jammer's remorse

sorry norman I did not mean to make light of your art

Something
I don't know why
everytime I see it
I think of Zelda Fitzgerald

Piggly wiggly always
as far back as
I can remember
a wonderful game
She played it with me
when I was just a babe
I grew up thinking I had 11 toes
