#23 -The "I Can't Wait Word Jam" March 8-16, 08

Post by mousey1 » March 8th, 2008, 10:43 pm

ha ha

well it's been a long time
since I shot some rhyme
along the lines of jammin'
I wonder if I've lost the knack
or if I ever even had it

so I'll sit back
and keep the beat
dance in my chair and warble
and if I hit
a chord that fits
I'll step right up and

jammit!
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

well hell
we must be dead

The fate of humanity?
Perhaps calamity?

See Tarzan and Jane
go down the drain
leaving behind
a ring around the collar!

But I rather think
pain is a blink
of the cosmic eye.

Delicious :P

You think I don't know
the color of a crow's toes
How they taste of pickles
and ice cream
One lick - the crow
screams...MORE!

stretching into jam
walking into vibes of beat and sass
lingering over art and sound
the place reels with wordwheels
round my head spins
as i find my morning feet

pervy crows
with pickle toes
know how to keep the beat
they sprinkle love
and marmalade
on everybody's feet

and when they see
that you're not lookin'
they swoop from the trees
where they're always lurkin'
and start lickin'
those nasty not quite chickens

so don't ask for whom the crow toes
he toes for you

karma's masturbation
sways at the mic
overcast sepia seraphim
float round clock's tic toc
unclean libertines laundry
lines hung with crow's pegs
undone button by button
slip off a creamy shoulder
-- out pops a juicy breast
mint, anyone?

fate will wait
for you to sit quietly
plan your day
sigh, think, laugh riotously
fate will wait
as patient as a mouse
who waits for cheese
spots a likely possibility
creeps forward
stealthily
and then
SNAP
fate has it's way
but still
there waits the cheese
it's all about the tasty cheese
and those who'd die to eat it

oh and of course jam
mustn't forget the jam
which waits for no man
or mouse
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!

crusty microphone peels off
slippery wires dangle off the stage
dali scenery melts into the audience
major fortissimo slows to a halt

this jam her says shalom
as i slosh towards the shower
and work up a presence to hit the streets
