not everyone can do this as a lifestyle!
my golden age is gonna be spent
on a treadmill of tyme
waiting for
a mawning wid
mousey in my dreams
unless ya gets to her first
an seduces her wid yer
shakin spears
an (h)airy ways!
leaves falling
hopes sighing
gotta doo what ya gotta dooo

this is a fall jam
just as the days
get shorter,
so do the jams
short and sweet!
as i enter the autumn
of my years, i become
endeared to times past,
remembering longer days
and the way love once
seemed to last forever

by popular request (aka jimbo's request
)
we have unlocked the jam~!
thank you, sir!
...........
if a leaf falls on the deck
and there's nobody there to see it fall,
does that mean there's no need to sweep?

And what if those leaves never returned?
What if this was the last time we would see them alive?
If I'm not mistaken, we are portraying their essence through words.
So we do know what we have.
We have to let them go, only hoping they have the same love.
For us.
We shall stay our courses, on which we are passengers. . .

good advice, RJ
keep your eyes upon the fallen leaves
in their splendour they'll always rain
stay the course
but of course the vessel
unmanned
is caught by the tide
and willy nilly sails
may the island we land upon leave us not wanting

Ha, jimbo, ha ha.
mousey be an old thing by then
not worth the sitting
the pen and paper ink drip drip drip
drying on the crinkled yellowed walls of sighing
for the might-have-beens
mousey be an old thing then
rocking back and forth on the memories
smiling
it's a ride
this life
all the wait
want
all the try try trying
all the dull aches
the sympathies
the shoulda woulda coulda dreams
all the floundering
and of course the eventual dying
though the spirit always young
