The truth is that any absinthe sold in the USA will be determined by the FDA to be "Thujone Free" but some distillers are noting that the test used by the ...
The Green Devil

I could drink it even with the wormwood
I am too far gone to matter

I already got so many holes in my head
The wind plays me like an Ocarina

I'll settle for a little schnapps at this point,
amidst candy cane displays and frosty air.
I park at the top of an icy hill and walk down
to go shopping for peppermint things.
No, for the people I love, no wait,
shopping just confounds me,
I gotta admit, even now.

Sometimes I pretend abstroint is with me when I go shopping.
Abstroint shops like U. S. Grant took Richmond
Like Sherman's march to the sea

I made my list I am checking it twice

Cigars for Freud
Penicillin for Nietzsche
Ipod for Camus
Swiss Chease for Wittgenstein
Reading glasses for Hillary Clinton (so she can read the intelligence reports she never read on Iraq)
A gag order for Bill Clinton

semi-blind because the morning sun
& walking through early vapores
I read now about absinthe
but in fact I had wine-beer-rum-ouzos-piñacolada-bluecuraçao-cachaça dreams
(maybe a mate for breakfast & water for the rest of the day
it would be helpful to reach this night)

the rainbow serie is waiting
& I still have to go to Pasionaria
two blocks from my home
to buy the last gifts

so much real joy in the world...yet these holidays do nothing but punctuate the worlds disparity and desolation for me...I find it very sad. So i roam desolation blvd. not knowing wether to make love or expect rain....):

mid-year.
short days
long nights
let's make the nights a little more fun
jam heats up the heart
warms the toes
popcorn and beer
no fake cheer
doesn't work
bring on the real
works for me

Powdery branches and scenes not yet written
Small copper snowflakes and frost not yet bitten
Red and green packages tied up in strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Silver bell Chevys and jam broth and noodles
Sleigh bells & May bills & schnapp crispy doodle
Soft drone above with the moon on its wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Men in red jackets with black plastic sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my eyes and eyelashes
Crystal steel winters that melt into spring
These are a few of my favorite things

Sing it (like?) Maria!

For the last eight years
we've sang the popularized
christmas carol,
"Do you fear what I fear?"

Finally this year we can sing
something new!

silent snow
you can hear
the echo
of your heartbeat
slow and warm

holy snow
the earth
in a chill blanket,
beneath there lies
a dormant earth.
all nature needs
hibernation

all is calm
bright multi-colored
rainbow lights
all is bright
reflect off a
chilled surface

feet wrapped
in wool socks,
fingers gloved,
pocketed,
counting
steps one
by one

sweet silent
snow, heavenly
peace

no snow down below
even on a cold day
in florita

waiting for the sun to go down too
lights waiting to sparkle
traditional holiday music
warming apple cider
and the absinthe locked up and hidden away

twood be a nice peppermint schnapps day
Image
holy halleluja
tree's waiting
wife cozy and happy
family coming
boys to celebrate
a real little balmy christmas eve celebration
for a vagabond bum
