Uh Huh Huh! Hurry up and jam with all your might,
'Cause this particular jam might be over after tonight...
Goin' with your flowin',
Making some four/four times,
Soon this part of the world is headed for sunny climes...

I'm a poet, I know it, my shoes show it,
They resemble Bobby D.'s.
I aim to please, so I stifled my sneeze,
As I awaken to jam the jam once again...
Plane is bound for glory,
All you need is the name of the Lord...
Let the congregation say "Amen".
Keep on chooglin', my blogger friends...

We went several days past the time originally
designated, passed over sign posts, elated by
the journey itself, angels soaring over doors
marked with blood, several wooden planks nailed
to a martyr's hands and feet, damn the incomplete
memory again struck with the jar of a storm, and
as far as I can tell, hell has again been dismissed
permanently because it never did exist. We celebrate
the formation of a cloud. I hear the sound of human
breath harmonizing aloud.

Kiss me goodnight! I've buried multi-colored promises
then resurrected them at sunrise, sun burning the
fog off an April morn, the afternoon filtering truth rays through
to film projected onto a new day! And yes there was the way
time went by, so fast at first, then so slow we had to run
backwards to catch up to it, sunset settling behind the backdrop
of dusk, me with my orthodox memories, candles in
hand, you with your various hues of drama and
peace peaking through evening blinds.

Traditions bear well and continue. Swell my heart into an avenue
soon to walk, and we talk until night falls, silent the stars, sweet
the smell of hyacinth, calming, the breeze. An oak tree bends its
knees and prays, another day done and the way you hold me
under Orion's watch, the way the clock ticks too slow, too fast,
the way mystery settles into perfectly timed lyrics....
ahhhh... it is Easter and I am reborn! I have made my way from
the grave! Embrace me and cheer a resurrected year!

I touch your cheek with my palm,
speak repeat sweet choruses.
Soft and dear the wind chimes echo.

Thank you all for being here and jamming together! I wasn't here as much as I would have liked to have been because of time restraints but I enjoyed every word you all posted! Off to sleep now... will archive this jam tomorrow morning (Monday). ... it's still open now so jam on~!

Just a note... as always... the GO forum is open 24/7 for spontaneous word jams so keep on keepin' on, even after this one gets archived.

Plus, we'll be having more planned Word Jams in the future.

Thanks for the gig
for the rigging
allowing this to sail, like
o'er the above vista
for the wails, and
tales trailing, like
hungry crumbs
in search of Pirandellos
for you, me
watching your word-wafts
flying
my rafts, o'er
the vista
above...

Now we've talked the talk,
Jammed the word jam,
Now we need to look within,
To walk the walk...

Let the wall of prayer confound us,
Let the voice of the Lord surround us,
Let's realize the peace which passes
All comprehension,
Now that we've been relieved of worldly tension.

tension keeps a close watch
any opportunity, you know
oh you -no fooling the fool in me
any minute now
the peace of upward tidal wave
crashes to sweep away the comatose
let the senses be heard
listen for the inner absurd
