Doreen, you gave us a beautiful banner! Love it much.

They'd captured a moment so beautiful. Look at the little pool of sun, I'd be barefoot.

Imagine an interstate highway where the side walk is, then imagine 20 foot snowdrifts on either side. Ah yes Snowqualmie Washington in winter.

Who shovelled that walk how? is your back?

Today's banner with the stars and Menorah was created from a photo Judih took of some colorful banners. I just repeated the stars on the left-hand side so it was filled with stars.

I always thought the Menorah had 8 candles, but no, it has nine. 8 for the 8 days of Chanukah and 1 for the assistant who lights the candles with the extra candle.

Jack... I shoveled the walkway. I actually feel great~ good exercise. It was a LOT of work, though.... especially cleaning off the car. We had almost 2 feet of snow. When you take 2 feet of snow off the top of the car and dump it into the driveway, you then have 4 feet of snow to shovel! Yikes! lol .... we haven't had a snow like this since 1996. This might be a record. Not sure. Four inches closes the town down. School is closed today and tomorrow. Even the Federal Govt closed today.

I hardly noticed. I remember the first time I logged in today I saw a flash, as if the sun was in my eyes. But then I looked again and said oh it is the same banner.

Higher in the sky, brighter?

I wanna be perceptive too. :P

ten four on the wow mingo 8)

Have you ever posted something and then while reading it afterwards notice the banner above your post and wonder at the synchronicity between what you wrote and your feeling about the picture.

Todays banner seems to reflect my mood and writing today.

I can't remember what he titled it when he posted it to Visual Arts, going to have to search it out.
