Hi A-One!

Thanks much!

I keep changing the top image... I want to rotate them so that when you come here, it looks different sometimes and keeps changing.

I thought that might be fun!

So, I've put up 3 or 4 now, and I have created approx 10, so I'll just keep going until somebody tells me they're getting dizzy, I guess.

LOL!

I might put up a poll about this... maybe people would rather that the image doesn't change but y'know what I suspect?

I suspect nobody really cares one way or another. ;)

I think you're referring to the crowd image I had up yesterday... that was a photo of mine from a downtown museum. I'm glad you liked it! Thank you again!

Change the image! Go on!

This new look is sumptuous. It works beautifully and, as usual, shows your keen sense of design.

My motto is Jasper John's:

"Do something else to it! Do something else to it!"

Well, I keep doing it!...... change is good and I'm having fun!

The one up there tonight (a wooden bridge in the forest) is from a photograph Dave the Dov sent me.

Thank you, Dave! I hope my artwork did your lovely photo justice!

If anyone wants to submit photos and allow me to digitally alter them for possible use in future banners, please post your images to this thread and I'll take a look. If I see an photo which I think will work well modified into artwork for the top image, I'll download it and work on it, then put it up top.

Maybe I will make a gallery of top images. If I do that, I'll give credit to the photographer who collaborated with me on this, of course.

For now? Onward... new images make me smile. The more things change, the more I like them.

Thanks for posting your images on this thread if you'd like to see them possibly used at the top of the page.

And thanks again, Dave, for joining me on this first top-image collaboration!

the wooden bridge is simply lovely, doreen

i don't know what it says about me,
but the bannisters today
are legs
each and every time, they are legs

wait, are they bannisters? or are they rods?

what does it matter?

they are legs

LOL!!!

Yeah, they look like legs... heh... it was unintentional but it's sorta cool in a way, even though I've decided I don't like it much.

The original photo was a photo taken askew in a stairwell, with angular metal bannisters and a ladder in the back. A study in geometric architecture, maybe?

Ah well.... LR likes it a lot! He sees those legs, too. ;)

To me, it feels a little cold and metallic, so I may change it later on today.

But... tell me, judih... is it fun coming here and seeing the images change? Do you like this better than having a static image? I hope so. I'm having fun with it. (some people don't like change, that's why I'm asking.)

If you like the changing images, do you have any images you'd like me to use to create banners with?

I love it! I liked the bridge, but this one .... It works.

This is StudioEight.TV ... and the image is something you'd see at a brand new TV studio. Plus ... it's bright & clean and there's a fresh and ready to go feeling about it.

I love it.

hey Dave... what's the difference between a bridge and a stairwell? one gets you from one place to another and the other gets you from one place to another... heh... hahaha... you're right! darnit! Thanks for sharing your images with me and letting me play with them.. i'm honored you'd allow me to. ;)

judih - it doesn't *have* to be a photo... i'd love to use an art image of yours if you're willing to let me screw it up maybe... lol... :D

deb- you're a sweetheart! thank you! (do i know you from somewhere? ;)) it dawns on me that none of these posts make sense if people hit the site when the images aren't there... i'm trying to figure out how to fix that problem... or IS it a problem? i donno.... well, the man encouraged my cartoon, so that's where we're at right now... Tonight... it's the cartoon channel! :D (i shudder to think what the critics will say but they're all outa town so it's ok)

thanks all, for your support and kind comments... keep those calls and letters coming in... :)... lol... but seriously... please post whatever images you'd like to see on the header on this thread and I'll try to use what i have time to use and minimize the screw ups which i am quite adept at. :)
