no station for miles and miles
parched passengers out for ransom
lonely hailstorms ahead

rain probably too little
too late
for a pecan harvest
manna from heaven
means pecan nuts falling on my head

KAbooooom!
cloudburst!
a crack in the sky
and God cries!
the cleansing ....
our sins are washed
into the river, the giver
of life knows when it's time

I'll be happy when it's late
local time: eleven eight
Day's been hot; cool, its Mate
pack this summer in a crate
make the farmers' market great
produce for the autumn plate
rubby tummy imitate
satisfaction masterbate
Kate and Marty celebrate
traffic's high through pearly gate
revolution church and state
revolution's reprobate
I'll be happy when it's late
local time: eleven eight

open sounds riming
time for desaceleration
a lonely dog barking,
a confused car alarm
mud coreography lies comfortably
among peperina steams
thunders & formless umbrellas
mmm... yeah, it´s late!

and so it is the autumnal equinox.
we have rotated once again around
the sun, none the worse for the cycles,
much more aware of the gravity
of the situation now because
soon leaves fall down.

fullness of the season
different kind of fullness
richness of bounty, crisp color
fullness of light and warmth
on the wane..

jupiter jives with moon
full equinox beach scene
lone guitarist sings

autumn here
but not here
90+ today
and tomorrow
come on fall
hot day in the
rod patch today
steel was sizzlin'

Autumn Equinox, the scheduled date for the jam to end.

Today, Sept 23rd.

full moon on the rise,
oh to see
the first autumn
night shine
so clear!
the sphere
perfectly
round
like
love
coming
full circle!

let us catch moonbeams
from the harvest moon,
enough to fill a mason jar,
poor them out
in the morning over top
our heads and we will rise
from our beds illuminated,
our sights set far
above the
heavens!

Soon October will come,
The leaves will paint themselves
Orange and tangerine--
Skies will turn to brilliant sunsets
Against the backdrop of foliage--
Our love will find a "new age",
A new season of autumn dreaming...
Come dream with me into
Multicolored dreams filled with bows
In gauze clouds of rain...
Fly with me into the astral plane.

miss my mac
record heat today
fall is here?
well jam is here
sticky and hot
jam on!!!!!!!!!

And so, another summer closes with this Jam,
a little later than schedule, like fall is late,
summer weather still lingers
and I want to thank you all,
dear poet friends & word singers,
for the beautiful words and images,
the gifts you've given, and though I hate
to see anything so lovely come to an end,
I promise you, we'll Jam again....
