no snow,
no cold
flower raises her shimmering head
flaunting beauty to children
and wayward daylight gatherers
voices of discovery slip into earshot
too late to recant
what once grew now graces tables
surrounded by smells of falafel and coffee cake
indoor prisoner

indoor prisoner like one an outlaw biker
as the snow gets deeper
I've become quite the dreamer
of things turning greener
hating the cold just makes me meaner
snow not so bad wish i was a skier
but no just sitting here becoming quite a sloucher

snow over a foot deep
I'll throw into a big heap

a pile we will make
if not for the kids sake
for an igloo they will undertake

through the hole I will creep
not a word I shall peep

Now I begin to shake
with an awe full backache
is it time for a house break

ahh yes, I got up and off I leap
to the house and off to sleep

snow party last night
insane reverie
entertainment delayed
on I-70
we decided to jam anyway
the band showed up
after midnight
cafe nola was in flight

lots more snow
on your side of the potomac
grey slush day
recovering from last night
paying for it
but it was fun
no work today
deal with the ice and snow
manna
looking for the big rubber boots
gots to find 'em

legends of snowfall
memories overflow
wild parakeet alert

falafel memory from last november
(with a cold drink!)

boots in snow

sucking the air out of an empty shell
i taste the sea
i walk the sands of ipanema

under comforting skies
warm arms embrace the day
