Software Change

Post by Steve Plonk » December 18th, 2021, 1:39 am

My microsoft word 365 has expired and I am thinking of replacing it with Microsoft Word (which will not have to be renewed every year).
Will this cause a problem with me posting or copying my material? Right now I cannot copy my posts and save them. :? --Steve Plonk

It shouldn't. I'm using the same version of Word I bought 3-4 yrs ago. Mostly I compose in Notepad, then just copy/paste the text into the edit pane here.

Yeah, no matter what software you use, you should create your material on your own computer and save it there (like Word, no matter what version, or Notepad), then copy and paste it here in the posting window. If you forget to save it on your computer, you can always click edit, select all, copy, then paste it into an application of your choice on your own computer. Studio8 can’t guarantee keeping any of your work for you. Hope that makes sense. I’m much more wordy than Sasha but what he said was correct, too. 😉
