Rearrange the furniture? Where's the beef?

Post by Doreen Peri » June 5th, 2008, 8:02 am

Maybe I should move the forums around again. Mix 'em up a little bit. For instance, do you think I should I put the artlogs in alphabetical order? Just an idea. I'm always rearranging the furniture. Gives it a new feeling. I like new. Do you?

Have you ever noticed that when you go into the same grocery store you go to every week, every now and then everything is in a different place? I hate that! I get used to where everything is and know exactly where to find it and want to come in and get out as soon as humanly possible with my pasta and olives and fresh tomatoes. But no! They moved the pasta from aisle 14 to aisle 20 and the olives from the aisle next to the salad bar to the aisle next to the cheeses! Arghhhh..... I walk out of there with some brie cheese I never intended to buy, a loaf of Italian bread I never imagined splurging for and an imported bottle of chianti since I had to walk past aisle 18 where the wines are and I never would have done had they kept everything where it was the week before.

Moving all that stuff is marketing. I hate marketing that inconveniences me and causes me to spend more money than I intended. I curse the grocery store management!

But Studio 8 is free so was just sayin'.... maybe rearranging the furniture would be fun and people will stumble on forums they never walked by before.

Just asking 'cause if you find it an inconvenience to find forums in a different place than they usually are, then I'd be cursed by you and my ego is so overly sensitive at the moment, I don't think I could take that. I would end up on the therapists couch being prescribed lala drugs and lord knows, I'm lala enough already as it is.

This was just an exercise in creative writing. No need to answer unless you give a shit.

lol

Calling all S8ers for shock therapy or other much needed electronic stimulation. ;)

(and yeah the smiliegirl colorful banner was just what I needed, too. It jarred the happy cells from my brain stress.... thank you smileGRL!)

cool up! to smileGRL's banner... cheerful as a pleasant summer day.

change things around. spring cleaning sort of thing. just don't confuse me (or anyone else!)

about all that stuff on the bottom... is that not like a basement? you know, a place where all the crap you don't want right now goes to collect dust and cobweb... what if there was a door that one opened and saw all these places... you'd still have them but they would be reduced to one area, i.e. basement.

just thinking...
