Adding an image to a post
phpBB BBCode incorporates a tag for including images in your posts. Two very important things to remember when using this tag are: many users do not appreciate lots of images being shown in posts and secondly the image you display must already be available on the internet (it cannot exist only on your computer for example, unless you run a webserver!). To display an image you must surround the URL pointing to the image with tags. For example:

http://www.phpbb.com/community/faq.php?mode=bbcode
Easiest way to do the img tag is to copy paste the image link to the text box then highlite the link by holding left mouse button down and moving the cursor over the link till it all turns blue and then release the button and left click on the Img button on the tool bar above the text box.

[img]put%20%20the%20url%20for%20the%20image%20between%20the%20img%20tags[/img]

YOu will have to have the image saved to a webserver like photobucket.com or your own website so you have a url to post an image.

I hope that is helpful check the link above to a website that explains the process better than I can.

Open a FREE account at

http://photobucket.com

or

http://flickr.com

Upload your pictures to your account at one of those sites.

After you've done that and have the pictures you want to post in one of those accounts, post back to this thread and we'll help you reference the images to post here. They will show up here when you use the appropriate IMG tags.

First step is to open an account at one of those sites and upload your photos there.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Eventually I'll get the software uploaded so you can upload them right here but that's not how it works right now.
