First, thank you all for participating! I enjoyed it very much!

How did you like it?

Was this experimental internet experience enjoyable to you?

Inspiring?

Please tell me what you thought about participating in the Jam.

I loved all of the images! Wonderful work, all of you!

Can you think of any ways we can improve the experience next time?

Should we do it again?

I would have liked to see more word jamming after the images but hey, what's quantity got to do with it? ;) That's just my initial thought, maybe I'm wrong about that.

Please post your feedback to this thread, ok?

Thank you!

i felt excitement all the way through. Very beautiful kaleidoscope.

i was thinking that it would be good not to lock up, but to allow certain threads to be brought back.

Perhaps we can use the images again during some other future jam - now that we have titles, it shouldn't be too hard to remember which image was which.

what do you think, dor?

Yes, me too. It was a beautiful kaleidoscope, indeed!

Maybe we shouldn't make it an event at all, but a forum that's open all the time to jam with the image.

Nothing ever locked up.

Which would be better?

PS -

want me to unlock them? I can unlock them all... or you can, too.

What do you think?

Anybody else have an opinion about this, too?

Well I stuck my paws in and found the jam to be deliciously tasty.

I had fun.

I think I'd like the images to remain open to additional posting as I wasn't able to visit every one of them, soooo many.

images have a long-term-with-delay effect in me (talking about written language).
I didn“t post images because the post-process is still difficult for me, but I enjoyed writing.
saludos,

Arcadia

Thanks, all!

I added a poll.

I'll go unlock all of the posts for now until we all sleep on it.

The poll is open for your opinion about which way the Image-ination Jams will work the best.

Whatever you all want is fine!

Arcadia, if you'd like my help posting images, email me and I'll see if I can help you. Participating with words only, is, of course, fine, too!

I had a total blast though I did not get to spend as much time as I had hoped (household crap I could not put off, fun fun fun) IMHO I think it is cool to have the jams locked and available for viewing only but allowing for the same format in general forums. It makes the even of the Jams more interesting when they are timed and it really allows you to go back and look at it ias a kind of finished project. Maybe it's just me. But thank you presenting such a fun way to jam out. LOVED IT!!!!

The jams are locked after experation date I like that 8)

Doing the litkicks thing about general posts is

if anyone feels distraught over something I delete in a fit of suicidal despair, just send a pm or just post to one of my missing ear posts that look like this ...
I would put it back in a heart beat.

Hey Truckin'! Could you answer the poll if you haven't already?

What do you mean..."Doing the litkicks thing about general posts is  "? I don't understand. Could you clarify?

If you're having "suicidal dispair," I strongly encourage you to STOP it! LOL! No, this is no laughing matter... Are you ok? I hope so! I have no idea if you're serious or not.

As I said before, you are perfectly welcome to delete your posts since that feature is included in the software, but I really wish you wouldn't do that unless it's imperative for your sanity because when posts are deleted, it's hard to follow the thread.

Thanks for being in the Jam. We enjoyed your presence...Yes, here's my vote for you to put the deleted posts back if you can. If you can't, no problem.

I got a pretty god damn sick sense of humor.

suicide is no joke, it is always a reality, it is human, it is beyond our control. it may be a simple twist of fate, a twisted strand of dna. But most likely Freud was right, human behaviour is over detertemined. this Line added after original post.
there is a really boring book by freud called Beyond The Pleasure Principle, it was like he just discovered the death instinct, suicide neverr crossed my mind when I was deleting those posts, I was killing them not myself. Suppose you and LR won the lotto and just retired tomorrow and this place wasn't here anymore, what would I do then? Probably just keep on keeping on doing stuff with my stuff. I think one of the new members marky something had that in his profile his occupation was doing stuff with my stuff

Not so say I don't have any issues that could use some professional help. my lifestyle is suicidal, and that is just a cold fact.

was that lucid?
i hope so

have I remembered to thank you and clay for all your good work here?

i've slept on this issue
and in my dream, i invented a horizontal shower - a very slim pod and as water shot from my head to my toes, i felt clean.

Thus, my verdict to this issue.
A jam is a jam. Starting point, middle and ending point.

That is a jam.
That doesn't mean that a person can not post an image in the Go forum for others to jam to. Why not?

That's a separate issue.
But the fact remains that a jam is a jam and at a certain pre-agreed point, it ends.

And so, i've voted.

A bidet? mmmmm.... lol....Sounds like a dream come true! ;) When I slept on it, I didn't get a bidet...

Let's call it "Extended Hours" for now.....

Thanks all for your feedback...

I'll keep it open until 12 midnight EST tonight .....

And we'll see how the poll goes.

I, too, slept on it, .... just woke up.... and though I originally voted "let's do both" - I think they should be events .... and we can always use another forum like Go for daily jamming to an image... but that's just me.

I had a very good time as I don't get my weekends off very often. I think I got carried away and posted too many images for one person but I was Jam packed. Hah!

I wasn't too sure how it would work at first but it all seemed to flow pretty well. With all the threads, it was difficult to see everything and to respond to them all and unless you can switch gears pretty fast, keeping up was a challenge. But hey, it was a fun challenge!

Enjoyed it greatly and had a good time. Not sure if I should vote on this because it is only the second jam I have participated in as my shedule rarely allows weekends. My impression or thought is that if you don't put a time limit on a jam, it will become a non-event and lose some of its luster and spontaniety. Having a time and a place makes it more like a party instead of just another board to participate in.

Thanks again to Doreen and judih for making it happen.
