Hi Kurt!
Well, you can't upload audio files or any files using this forum software, unfortunately. It's possible that we could add such a feature but I haven't checked into it yet.
For now, just like your visual images, audio files need to be stored somewhere on a web server in order for you to post links to them here.
I just did a search for you and found this page which compares several free services to upload audio files so you can share them.
http://www.free-webhosts.com/free-file-hosting.php
It looks like some of them delete your files after a certain number of days. But not all of them say that.
I haven't clicked any of the links yet, but I'm going to check them out. We could use a free place to store and share audio files ourselves. We have been putting them on the S8 server but we're planning on expanding the main site and we don't want to take up too much storage space with our own stuff since we want to showcase other people's work, too.
Later, when we are ready with the new software we have (but haven't yet configured), there will be a way for S8 artists to upload files, probably. Still more work to do on that.
What type of audio do you have to share? How many files and how big are they?

Wowow!
Just found this!
https://www.streamload.com
I created an account. I'll let you know if I'm pleased with how it works.

So far, I don't like that streamload place. I uploaded an mp3 but I can't figure out how to access a link. I selected "email a link" and tried to email it to myself but they want money for that feature. *sigh*Oh well. Maybe one of the other links on that other page is a better service.
Anyway, hope this helped some.
