how does one insert photos into messages? i am cyberignorant i suppose but the button the says Img seems to presuppose a link to a site. is it possible to just upload photos from say a disc?

uploading images to these boards is not possible yet, but it is a feature we're hoping to add eventually

for now, you're right... the bulletin board image code is meant to pull the image from another location on the web

so you click the img button, then paste the url of where the image resides (like photobucket or something), then click the img button again to close the code or just type it in

you can store your images on many sites which offer free gallery space.... then you will have a URL of the image to refer to
