The last "newest member" ( I'm not sure if it was "AliceMedichi34" or whatever the name is)-- immediately sent three Trojans to my hard drive when I clicked on it. Its homepage says something like "CNN WarNews."
A dangerous little bugger.
I'm not "bothunting" and don't intend to keep bothering you, but this little bugger could harm someone's computer. It put mine into a spin while McAfee antivirus was cleaning the hard drive.
friends,

Thanks! The best I can do is to delete them when I get here.
I don't know anything about trojans. I didn't know they could do that. I thought it was about the links. I don't even know what trojans are. It's a virus, right? We Mac users don't have a problem with viruses, so I'm sorta in the dark about that.
Sorry. We do the best we can. It's free open source software which continually requires updating as they keep changing the version and add additional security features. Unfortunately, though, even when we are running the most recent version, we have occasional bots. Right now, I need to upgrade again as the idiots who create these insidious beasts have apparently programmed the new ones to bypass the "read what you see" screen in the registration process. It thought when we upgraded to include that, the bots would stop entirely because they can't read. But now? Not only do they bypass that screen and register but some of them can POST! Ack! Don't programmers have anything better to do than to be a pain in my ass?
If you have time and would like to help zap them, let me know. I can make you an admin.
