how we drive on in the face of adversities to reach our star
you know I want to be low maintenence, if i am mad at anyone it is myself for not expressing my self more clearly.

this conversation taking an unexpected turn for me,

Maybe my posts should be rated PG Seventies
So much of what I am trying to get at has to do with my own sexual immaturity.

Interesting article in Harper's magazine in the November 2006 issue. About Children of The Revolution. "The sexual revolution hits junior high, my newspaper says"

Sorry if I woofed
thanks for taking an interest
I am getting more comfortable in my skin too.

not_a_spam_bot is an angel. The truth was a little hard to swallow, but luckily, I, of some faith, trusted his word and lo! you have verified his ID.
thanks, dor.

you wanna see something funny? log out then click register and see what he put in there...

anybody who wants to register has to answer an arithmetic question... hahahaha

hey now.. it's a little complicated yet, in my opinion, but seems it's working because since he put it in there, not ONE bot has registered!

his "not a spam bot" name he registered himself to see if he could get in with the right answer, i guess

still working on it

have to talk to him tomorrow

thank you... gnight.. whew!

hope we don't scare away any real people who hate subtraction! lol

i am grateful... big sigh of relief.. god i hope this works.. it's got to, right!

standing up to applaud!

gnight for real now.. see you all tomorrow

ha! numbers!

hope we're a little smarter than the bots. Maybe we can work this into an online math quiz. The winner gets to post.

good night, dor[/b]

Its got me stumped too:
What is the result of the arithmetic problem in the 3. line?
145+78-56=?
23+125=?
(118-92) * 8=?
what the hell was that?

Geez doreen, you don't understand?
How you think i feel?
I don't get it either.
I ran across a website called The Zen of Not Getting It. Now that is Zen I can use!

All you got to do here is call yourself a writer and you can get away with murder. Language crimes against humanity.

Well, the 3rd line answer is...

118-92= 26

26 x 8 = 208

I'm assuming the asterisk means times (x)

It's a little too complicated in my opinion and the questions probably need to be rewritten so it's clearer. They came with the MOD (modification)

Maybe this is not the MOD for us. Maybe it is and I need to figure out where to go to rewrite the questions so they are clearer.

It works, though. No bots since it's been installed and we were zapping 25+ every day not to mention all their posts.

I don't want to scare any REAL people away.

I'm thinking if the questions are reworded, it won't.

I donno.

What do you think?

I did my high school math in 1959 they changed the SAT math exam in 1960 I think. Whatever happened to the New Math?

The asterik is what confused me.
makes sense to me now

I was kind of hoping totenkopf WAS a spam bot.

There may be hope for silicon based life forms to supplant us.

I get a little disgruntled with real people sometimes.

Thanks for all your work on behalf of the community. After they get done with honoring Rumsfeld for the brilliant job he has done, once he fades away, I hope they get around to giving u the presidental medal of honor for being such a valuable Citizen.

OK. I think I set it so that there is only one arithmetic question which varies every time someone registers.

I hope people can figure out that the asterisk is a times (x) mark. I figured it out because my calcluator on my computer uses the asterisk on the keypad as times (x).

I turned all the other questions off.

Let's see if any real people register successfully. (That's why "not_a_spam_bot" registered to see if it worked to gain access for real people)

Could a few of you send a friend or two over and ask them to register, OK?

We need to test this out.

Thank you!
