Thanks for being here, tizz!
You're welcome any time! It was good to see some new faces...
I beg to differ, though, you ARE a writer! That's what writing is... putting thoughts down on paper (well, in this case, online
)
And I enjoyed reading your contributions!
(i thought that was funny that I just happen to have a Pee Yourself thread on LU to link to .... but don't worry... urine titled to write your thoughts as long as urine the clear and don't piss on anybody... lol.. at least your screen name isn't pizz.
)
Hope you join us next time. We're alternating between websites to do the Word Jams. Next time, Fri. Feb 4th at http://scroll.org, then back here Fri. Feb. 18th.

my net was no longer a few seconds after i just got started.
(10 p.m. my time is late to start a jam, but i was happily waiting until the optic cable had other ideas)
it was strange reading the jam as an observer when the net finally got turned on 13 hours later.
jams are for participation.
i thought things were going well.
didn't quite understand l-rod's thing with the gun. But quite clearly he was channeling the image all the way through.
Tizz, tori! Introduce yourselves! Tell us something about you.
As for my preferences, i'd rather see poetry than conversation - artistic jamming, rather than under the breath comments. The joy of a jam is to push artistry higher and to convince it to lead us to larger expanse. Conversation tends to break that flow.
i had to include an artguy image, and can't wait to see an image/word jam next time.
thanks for being on guard, doreen.

, I wish I could stop my nephew's insanity, but that is the gift a a dysfunctional family. The gift that keeps on giving.I wish I could stop my my son from peeing in bed
Do I believe that? Or is it just thoughtless tag line I shouldput < HR> above it just pessimism and despair, my negative pole, my thanatos to eros, the spark that keeps on giving. Thinking about Debbie Reynolds daughter and wondering why she has two poles and I am only supposed to have one.
I don't regret anything about the whole thing even the pissy parts, reminds me of the first american astronaught sitting in his little space capsle, for twelve hours, it was only going to be a ninety minute trip but houston had a problem, he started getting antsy from the coffe he had drank after six hours he started asking what he should do about it. They keep telling him to put a paper clip on it, after nine hours he was begging, they had to talk about it for an hour, the possibility of electric shorts in the suit, finaly they let him go
I was working on my last post to the jam but I missed it by a minute,

too much caffeine has been a catalyst for many an interesting jam.
almost anything can be the catalyst for fast paced response.
Please keep posting. We have the 'Go' forum for impromptu jamming.
Glad to meet you.
And i do know what a 3 year old is capable of doing.
(i've had 4 of them to show me)

too much fun, me too I knew Iwas going to suffer today,i decided to go in and just type what came to mind. looks like i had a bit too much caffine yesterday. hehe
reminds me of a great blue grass theme from a moronic tv comedy called Petticoat Junction, something about too much fun no such thing.
the jam is weird, it is scary or is it scarry thing for me, I have to go in with the right attitude, like starting down off of Immigrant pass, I don't want to be asleep at the brake, I jam with out a co polit, I want to not censor myself, the danger of spontaneous posting for me is anger, I don't want to think good thoughts all the time, I don't want nothing to interfere with the word flow, jam for me is like shorting out the the negaitve and positive, watch the sparks

judih - How about if we start it earlier by 2 hours? That would be 8PM your time. Would that help? Everything should be flexible. Like time. And love.
Sorry you had computer problems! But as always, your input was wonderful and I truly enjoyed the whole thing! Thank you, jude, for being here! Just let me know your thoughts on the timing thing and we'll change it. I agree that chat doesn't add much to it and, as a matter of fact, detracts from the flow. People can chat by IM or on one of the other boards or ICQ or pm or email. Glad to hear you're open to the image/word jam idea. We need to talk about how to best accomplish this idea. I think it could be cool!
StillT- Where the heck *were* ya? We missed you! Next time, for sure, OK? I have to read this post of yours over and over again..... there's so much in there! That's why we love you......
tizz - it was great having both you and tori and I hope you come back to do it again! Never apologize for letting your fingers flow with words. That's what it's all about! Oh, and I know, too, what a bundle of energy a 3-year-old can be! I had two of them... One is now 22 and the other 12, but at one point, they both were 3 and taking after me, they tended to have too much energy to even attempt to control. I echo judih's welcome and if it was the caffeine makin' ya rock 'n' roll, well, hell, here's a pot of coffee on me!
come back any time... glad to have you here!

2 hours earlier is good, doreen.
that'll put me right after dinnertime, a little digestive juices may come forth, but it's all life in our 24 hour jam world.
Let's discuss the image thing -
basic rules - give credit and online website.
if it's another artist, we need to ask permission to use. Hmmm, what to do about that?
Think of images in advance? But, that'll remove spontaneity. Unless we pre-choose a series of images and ask for permission and if the spirit moves us to use them, it'll be cool.
(you know how netiquette makes the world go round)
gotta run - will check in later

if I regret anything about the jam it was not using emoticons. These are not obsidian words. I mean them for what that is worth. Thinking about a quacker nursey rhymme old friends are golden new Friends are silver. When I say poets are worse friends than musicians, I make an assumption that you remember how sick my sense of humor is, but Assumptions are just that. well I am just reminded of my pardner in crime back at the truckstop, about five women on that shift and they all got together and got the employee pain in the ass monthly meeting changed just for their little alpha pack so that they would not have to come in on their day off, when I found out about it after it was too late I said howcome you didn't tell me you moved the meeting? They said, "you were standing right there."chickthingsaregoodthings
I had no idea what she was talking about. Something here about how men and women communicate. Did they assume I listened in to every one of their conversations? No one told me, Jack you wont have to come in on your day off. I suppose I expected an engraved invitation. if I keep rambling like this I may have to switch back to coffee

What would I do next time? Same as this time I guess. Short him out. Tune out the static in his attic. Readers Digest used to pay twenty five dollars for the perfect squelch. Maybe we could have a competition in honor of lazy bear. f slice and dice his brain with electrick love. bombard him with pixels of compassion, I remember that someone loves him, someone asked him on the miracle jam, "why don't you love me." So as long as somebody can love him I think we should reserve a seat for him on that choo choo . Meanwhile all we can do is feed the bear. say ahh when he writes something good, and try not to get involved in his torment, I am working on theory that this is his mad genuis voice, he is such a brilliant writer he can be many different people here, but not always authentic.
the suffering genuis, prometheus to an ungrateful bunch"rage warps my clearest cry to witless agony"
I don't understand but then again how could I understand, I work in such a dim light compared to his genuis, but he says it is not about gender,, he says he is not a creep, but he diss women so consistently you would wonder. But then he runs and writes something pretty and we all say ahhhh.that you have to feed the polar bears
or they will eat you
What can you say to someone who makes annonymous death threats. My theory is that he has ,touretts syndrome, torments syndrome, my favorite exchange with him was about a mile marker in Arizona. I tried to to make some kind of sense out of what mnaz was writing about and where he said he was, I don't go there anymore more with the professor, I just accept that he has superior knowledge and everything he says must be right, because if I annoy him he will try to fuck with my grade point average, or spring a pop quiz on me,and I wonder about all the people here who want to take him on, (that was the reason I started deleting, I got so frustrated with SB and LR for taking him on,) is it just freedom of speach to make death threats, is it poetic license I suppose it is a guy thing I dont understand, I must be a girly man. I just go around him like US Grant would go around that Prussian fortress, go around him and say he is mine, see his alligator mouth and canary ass. What are parents suppose to with the ranting raving tantrums of toddlers. Do you threaten them? Listen to them and try to reason with them?. . I think Ram Dass might say something like wait him out, chill and sing him a lul a bye and maybe he willl cry himself to sleep.
His delusion is also mine, self loathing, mankind as a disease, He is offended by the maggots.
I feel such a tender indifference towards him. He is my brother after all.
man I wish I could find a copy of that Funkadelic album Maggot Brain.____________________________________________________

Yet to commit murder
A poem submitted to Understatementdotcom
the author says go ahead and send me email so I can put it in the junk folder. So I suppose there is no sense asking him for permission to quote.
.http://www.understatement.com/pages/for ... 2030153110
..i tolerate almost every single one as i've yet to commite a murder.
Has a nice The Stranger sound to it.
mUCH more eloguent then herr professors "Shut up. Or I will shut you up Permanently." Am I suppose to take him seriously as an adult?
He loses authenticity, he can't quite get this voice down. Brilliant flashes but shallow, unauthentic.Maybe he should change hats, or maybe he ought go shit in his hat,

I hope this has been helpful
