Below is a link to the Cafepress store I made for Studio8 trying out a logo back in 2006, I think.... maybe 2005.
I never did much with the store, never expanded it, never made the logo a logo we use anywhere else. I just set up a few products and ordered a few myself to test the quality of the products.
I also used the store to sell the anthology but we didn't sell that many unfortunately. It's a GREAT book, by the way! Thanks to all for your contributions.
At any rate, currently I owe them money and as I am at the moment unemployed and there is a monthly fee for keeping the store open so I will be closing the store at the end of the year.
If you'd like to purchase some Studio8 memorabilia.... one of the anthologies, a coffee mug, a tee-shirt, posters, framed prints, etc.... now is the time to do it.
Here's the link. - http://www.cafepress.com/studioeight
A few purchases could help with paying my bill to them before I close.
The original plan was to ask for donations of artwork and photography from members so people could buy prints of the work by studio8 members which would help support the operation of the site plus give you all a place to buy prints of your own work. I never carried through with this plan. I'm sorry.
The ones up there now, though, would make nice gifts or you could enjoy whatever you buy yourselves.
I need to close the store before my bill keeps rising so I'll be closing soon.
Funny, they never have sent me any notices letting me know I owed them money. I only found out recently when I purchased one of the books myself.
Thanks for any help by purchasing a gift or something for yourself. I think I earn about $3-$5 per item which will help toward paying what I owe them plus you'll have something to remind you of Studio8.
Thanks again.

Talk about your whole life flashing before you eyes
The first time I read it as "Studio Eight is closing"
Sorry I understand why you got to close the store
In the meantime I got a lot of potlatch shopping to do
I am going to the store and I will shop till I drop.
as much as I can afford.
thanks for everything
I wish some of the people who will be publishing books this year will consider your store as an outlet, but I guess it is too late for that. If you have a good holiday season do think you could keep the store open a little longer?

Re: Studio8 Store closing soon - Thank you for your help
Hi Jack... thanks and no, I wouldn't close Studio8. The store was just a project at first to get the book created and then I decided to expand it but never carried through with my plan.
I'm going to reformat the book for Createspace.com so it will be on Amazon.com also since when you use Createspace.com, they automatically put your book on Amazon. That's what we did for Mark's book (mnaz).
And I'll close the store because there are better online stores now to use where I could do the same thing I planned to do with cafepress...... but it won't be right away because these things cost money and I'm fresh outa cash at the moment.
Thanks VERY much for your support!
