You, who have traveled over land, sailed over sea.
You, whose soles are worn, whose souls are torn,
those who venture forth without guidebook or map!
You whose blood was trapped but
spilled to lead a path by wrath and hope!
You who have bled the resurrected highways!
You, who are reborn with the wisdom of image. You who
create a vision, a word, a flight of fanciful absurdity, a bending
knee to a free release!

Bring your ends-of-the-world adventures, your jaunts,
your tripped-out itineraries, your tips of a hat to loved ones
who embrace at the terminal –
Bring your wings to fly the sky, your bon voyages,
your gravel road, your muddy pleasure cruises!
You, who have word journeys!
You, whose language is telling!
You, who have photos on the back of eyelids.

Where have you been? Where are you going?
You, who have arrived! You, who will never
settle down. Bring your points of departure!
Focus us on your view from a locomotive platform!
Chug-a-chug!

Embellish your traveling words with

which document your journeys.
