Loved it, Wireman had the fire and Doreen had the electricity, it was wild for sure
Great place, let's do it again huh
It's really my element, too. I felt right at home. I always do every time I get up there. (though it had been 3 years! omg!) Unfortunately there are no poetry events near me... which is one part of my dream to make them happen connected to a Studio8 Live brick & mortar venue or a traveling troupe or something. There is a venue not that far from me so I should start getting out more to read & perform but it's hard to do mid-week as a single mom.judih wrote:thanks, dori, for the write-up
you neglected to mention what you read and how people were eager for more
mark's in his element - i read his enthusiasm everytime he mentions the cafe and every reading he's ever hosted or been a part of (and it's been a long time)
& great to hear about james' spoken word power
hope new connections bring the scene to virginia.
