Yeah, spam bots. It's a bit much. I've come here lately and some of them have posted 30 times!

I'm just getting tired of it. Reminds me of what happened on the Poetry in Baltimore site. We used to have a much better bot catcher in the registration but it's gone now and I don't know how to do anything techy like that to install a new one.

Maybe I'll look into the settings and see if I can figure out how to close down registration entirely.

Ray... the site went down due to who knows what? I have no idea. The host restored it to this default style. After that, we've been inundated with spam bots, lost the custom spam stopper at registration and other features, also. (rotating banners, embedded mp3 player... I don't know what else). The bots were driving me crazy because I'd come here and some of them had posted multiple times, some of them posted porn links, it just was hard. Judih's been helping to zap them and I'm grateful for that! I'm just tired of the daily routine. I can't even skip a day without coming here.

Yeah, temporarily disabled until (or if) there's a time when the registration gate is better guarded. I can make an announcement on FB sure, but I think we may only have 10 followers. LOL ... No, it's probably more than that. I just never use the FB page but I can make that announcement there and here .... I'll do that tomorrow or soon after that! Thanks, as always, for all your help!
