sorry, methinks i may have asked this befor, but how do you retain the line indentations in the format of a poem as presented on the discussion boards.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

Hey e-dog.... Lemme see if I can help.

OK... it worked.

I used the "pre" tag, meaning "preformatted." It's an html tag. Why it changed the font from arial to times, I have no clue, but the indentations I made in my original document are there. I only used a text document. Maybe if you use a Word document, it will retain the formatting of the font. Hold on... I'll try that.

OK, I created a Word document, selected Arial for the type, and formatted the same text as above, then added the "pre" tags to the beginning and end. Let's see if it works -

Nope. The font still converted to a serifed font... looks like Times New Roman.

Anyway, at least the indentations are retained.

Format your indentations in a separate document, then put < pre > before the text and < /pre > after the text .... without the spaces.

footnote - unfortunately, I didn't originally double-space the text but that's how it posted when using the preformat tags. Hmm.... I don't know why. But indentations are retained by using the "pre" tags, anyway. Hope this helped.
