50thAnniversary- The 6 Gallery's Revolution

Post by judih » October 8th, 2005, 2:03 am

small warehouse
suddenly inside-out
voices that squirm within
shout without
abandon!
abundance dance dance in aisles and chairs
folding and unfolding
original origami - paper revealing new truths
howl going round the crowd

Go Go Go
in kerouac flamed cheer
fifty years
fifty claps of a calendar call
unfolded revolutions, page upon page
sound upon sound
orchestral cries upon cries

not enough dead
to silent the sound
howling through time
howl, howl
in going ongoing
whispers staged into darkness and light
beyond sound barriers
i scratch my passion
and you scratch it further
we drive this bus over the edge
where no edge has been

& we go on

I see Jack
the crowd
wine flowing
Go Go Go
Go cat Go
electric feeling
dharma bums
raining words
no shoulda-coulda-
woulda's, the real deal
the chance to spill
a lil bit of heaven
upon the masses,
HOWLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!

Thinking about the mother of st jack, the woman behind the romanticized her. He was real proud of his coon ass father who pushed a Jew around.

He brought america, I mean the great unwashed like me, the Precious Gift of Zen.

A saint to me, to turn me on Buddha.

Dr Sax

Adolp Sax and his devil horn. I have never read the novel...I think I am afraid to. What more could I write?

In the late forties before graphic novels became literature, they used to have these funky advertisements on the inside back cover. How you could sell greeting cards and win a Red Ryder Daisy air rifle. Also the latest miraculous gadgets, googles that would give you X-Ray vision. I wanted to get those goggles, day dreamed about what they would be like. Would it allow me to see into Crazy Mike's mind as well as he saw into mine?

X-ray vision. Look through clothes! See the wonders of undergarments.

You too can trick your friends with the amazing squirt flower, or the magic deck of cards.

MAD magazine had all the answers.

The days, the days. When jeans were just jeans, not sex symbols.
When swearing was radical.

When living your dream was unheard of.

ah, the days.

When living your dream was unheard of.

ah, the days.
The days of living in my dreams are gone

I will Wake up again no more

Dreams of reason

Living in a state of childhood terror

The child father to the man

Repression makes for memory leaks

In the silence of my dreams

I find the missing pieces of my life

I can run but not hide

The truth will set me free

All I got to lose is my vanity.

waiting to get my second wind
trip trap word rap

i read their jaunts and remember
my own mad searching

i can see utah open up into the green valley
down from dry vast high plains
and then the great salt flats, man
unbelieveable
i may never pass that way again
but i did it and how
the madness of unbridled passion

i grew a pet weed
it has long skinny branches
with little yellow flowers
the branches are spread out too wide
not a pretty bush to most
grows well in the alley back of fences
i let two grow in my backyard

i braided one, and blended it with vines from the fence

the madness of unbridled passion
i'm on a survival mission
yo ho ho an a bottle of rum om
