ok, suckers. i set up a wiki here:

http://indiewriting.wetpaint.com/page/Home

this is on a new service called webpaint, and it allows people to basically do whatever they want.

i thought it might be a good place to network people. nothing to replace this or any other writing site or forum or gathering place, but merely as a link repository, a place to find things, find people, etc.

now, back to working on my poem for cabaradio...

Pretty cool!

Thanks for the link!

Looking forward to it... I'll bookmark it.

Thanks for linking back to us, too.... (instead of linking to the front page on the site that isn't really developed yet, maybe it would be better to link to these forums? Just an idea.)

Never heard of wetpaint or webpaint or whatever it is before... I like it! :)

Now back to working on my piece I haven't started writing yet for the cabaradio... lol .. geesh... I'll be writing it the night before the show probably.

a wiki is like a shared website that allows you, once registered (easy), to update content in real time.

so, for instance, if you'd like the studioeight link to go to a different url, you can just edit it.

or add pages, or whatever.

it's pretty cool. using services like that one have the advantage of being browsed very often, and since pages can be tagged, people are more likely to stumble upon those pages instead of other independent domains.

Thanks! I edited it.

I'll think about what I might want to add later after I finish thinking about all the other stuff I'm thinking about thinking about.

I love Wiki. :D
