Click here to watch the Cabaradio!

:)

Many thanks to all of the talented performers who invested their time, energies, finances & collaborative spirits, the hard-working festival organizers, the Warehouse Theater, the kind, giving and forgiving audience, the patient & energetic stage manager (Barry), the videographer (Denise), the lighting & booth tech (Don), the sound technicians, the many friends & neighbors who put up with us and brought us food & drink, and of course, God herself who I am starting to believe in again because she saved me from my demise by making my heart beat regularly again. I love you all!

If any of you know any backers, we'd like to do this more regularly, so send them my way, wouldjya?

About the videos... It's best if you have exterior speakers on your computer. Even then, some you may need to turn up louder than others. Oh and please be patient as some of them are long and will take a few minutes to download even on a fast connection. If you have dialup? Don't bother clicking... You will need DSL or cable to access these since they need to load prior to starting because we don't have a streaming service.

Thanks for watching!
We hope you enjoy the show.
Report about the show coming soon!

Thanks Doe, never thought I'd get a chance to be in the audience...even if only virtually!

I haven't watched it all yet but so far so so so so good! :D

So excellent to see people who have only been words in a text box.

Pel: good stuff, made me smile.

Fame and Beauty: two perky thumbs up...shake it Ms Periwinkle. What a catchy number, that is a tune I can groove to.

Lucy: What a cutie pie. But I think dates are just for eatin'.

Lrod: Cool and smoooooooth.

firsty: Very human...and that's a good thing.

All in all some excellent playing and singing and word grooving. Thanks for the look in.

No Izzy? :(

thank YOU for spending the time to watch the show, Jack! Glad you enjoyed it...

I put my Sunday fame & beauty piece up there (changed them.. before I had saturday's up... )... can't make up my mind as to which I don't like the most. ha! Might put up the complete nature boy too.. the one that's up there is just a clip.

Anyway, yeah, for sure! Would love to meet you one day! It's always much more fun in person. ;)

very gregarious feeling going on.
And it's all personality - there's no background bullshit - it's all you, you all and the energy and humour and humanity.

didn't watch the dancers yet - but concentrated on dor, l-rod, barry, sean, juliana and lucy. the beginning and didn't get to the ending. A show to be seen in segments, thanks to a powerful crowd in this living room demanding computer time.

but all the better for me. Bits to enjoy and listen to in my mind and then more bits to chew on.

It was fun seeing live the piece that L-rod offered us here first in print.

very cool.
and the page looks great, too.

in short, yeah!

and also, the page has the "8" icon on it!

yeah, Sean, the 8 favicon is appearing when Clay accesses it from his computer but I still can't see it from mine. I donno why.. *shrug*. I think I need to also add it to the phpbb folder... maybe then it will show up here on the forums all the time.

judih - thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments! Wish you had been here! Man that Gay Noir piece went through some changes... LOTS of them.. I edited it, Barry edited it, Clay edited and then we all individually edited it again and then when we were together a couple days before the show, we edited it again a couple times together. I had scripts strewn all over my house. couldn't find my camera for any still shots but still got some still shots from others so i'll make a still shot page too eventually.

Please make sure you take the time to watch Chris Chandler and David Roe. I guarantee you will be blown away! Their pieces are really excellent... they are polished performers and there is accompanying video which was quite dynamic.

Dr. Tom & Rene (aka Stupid Bob on these pages) also offer some fine performances as they are excellent musicians.

I can't say enough about the entire band... Butch Mueller, the saxophonist, was terrific, and we were honored to have Billy Sands on percussion.

All in all, it was a really fun show and I'm glad we got it taped so you all could take a look. (Wish we had had more time together before the show to make the show more polished. We did the best we could given the fact that we brought together performers from all over the country. Glad you got an easy-going feeling out of it, judih!

All comments and critiques welcome as we are trying to hone this format into a show we can do on a more regular basis with a core performance troupe.

Doreen, this was great. Everyone was on top of their game. There was feeling, a genuine, from the heart feeling.

It also looked like fun, but I know the hard work you all must have put into this.

Congrats!

To friendship,
Michael
