I had an idea for this jam but I can't remember what it was.

Something about themes.

hmmm...

Or the idea about themes was an idea for a new forum (as if we don't have enough forums already! lol)

Well anyway if I think of what I wanted to say, I'll come back.

Looking forward to this one (not that I don't look forward to all of them)... but I really NEED spring!

glad you're looking forward to it, too, judih!

Spring Fling Jam starts tomorrow!

I'll be back to write up the announcement and send y'all an email about it, too.

Question...

My idea is to have a jam for a "one-word theme" but I don't know if this is the time to do it or not. I think it would be cool to have threads all inspired by one single word. When we do this, it will have to be an Image-ination Word Jam, a separate forum with individual threads, later archived with the others.

Does this fit with spring? Hmmm...

Or would you rather just make one big thread in the Word Jam forum for your Spring Fling?

Or does it matter?

lol

Off to the airport... shipping my daughter off to see her father for a week. I'll be back to check your replies (if you have an opinion about it)... before I create the announcement.

One-word Jam. Cool idea.

Being one for wide boundaries, i'd pick "April"
The word 'spring' has too many associations for me, but April is rather more accomodating.

The past two days have been so utterly hot, but today is ominously grey, with warm temperatures but hints that something's up. Now there's a sudden wind.
April - you never know what you're gonna get.

Hope Alicia has a great time. And you'll be a conduit for a million ideas to throw out onto the jam floor.

Took 2 hours to drive an hour and 15 minutes. Whew! Beltway was a parking lot!

Judih... "April" yes! OK cool!
i didn't mean a one-word jam like the two-word jam currently going on in GO.... I meant a one-word theme at the top of the thread.... like somebody posts a thread called "sneakers" and puts a photo of their sneakers and a poem about sneakers and other people word jam to it or add their drawings of a sneaker, etc. ... so that each thread has only one word as the title of the thread to be used as a theme for jamming. (oh but you probably knew what i meant... lol... i'm just not too good at knowing i wrote what i meant well enough so that people knew what I meant. ;) Weather is fluctuating here, too! Spring has definitely sprung, though. Rain tomorrow. guess i gotta postpone the fence guys.

Mark -
"April Word Showers" I love that... let's use that! Thanks, Mark! will email you about next week .... gotta go back to BWI to pick her up same day as your show so need to figure out timing.

Jam on, brotha & sista!

Announcement coming soon!

Writing the announcement now. Let's just use one thread in the Jam Session forum and see how many pages we can reign on! ;)

We'll do the one-word theme jam next time. :)
