The magic number is 8

Post by Doreen Peri » July 16th, 2007, 8:20 pm

It's been 8 months since the concept of the book was presented and the process of submissions, Word Jams, Image-ination Jams, etc. started taking place.

And now it's happening. Finally. The magic number is 8.

The book, "Infinite Tide" (a name you all voted on), an anthology of poetry, artwork and photography, is almost finished.

Got the ISBN # today. The layout is complete. The front and back covers are in design mode (as I misplaced the files from an earlier design during the last 8 months) and soon, I'll get a proof, make final corrections and it will be ready to go.

Just wanted to let you know.

The magic number is 8.

Thank you all for your contributions and patience.

OK... I'm baaaack!!! And when I arrived home, there it was ... THE BOOK!

There are only a few corrections to make. I am quite proud of it as I hope you all will be.

I will make the corrections then send the file back up and announce it to the group with a link so you, too, can get a copy.

It may take a week or two before the announcement .... stay tuned!

:)

Quick update on the book. I've ordered 2 different bindings from Cafe Press and I'm also ordering one from Lulu for comparision.

Once I get the proof from Lulu, I'll make a decision about which service to use and announce the book!

;)

thanks all!
