Wow!

this is getting serious.
i like the space, the choice to say only the title on the front.
i like the feeling of low beach peace.

nice.

judih - seriously, it is getting serious... ha!. ;) hope it's simple enough, elegant enough, worthy enough, pensive or thoughtful enough, imaginative enough to do the interior works in the collection justice.... hope it's not too flowery.. just wanted simple, peaceful.. glad you like it. thank you :)

cecil - rock it out! read it, bleed it, be in it! oh you are! ;)

oh shit i just found another typo

lol
:? :(

trouble with this whole process is you can't just correct the one typo.. and not only that you can't just replace the entire interior manuscript for the content of the book.. with lulu, you have to start totally over again at the beginning of the process and... sighh.. never mind.. i can't believe i missed this.. ok well nobody wants to know about sausage making i hear but since you guys are the only ones to talk to, i'll tell you anyway and then go fix the typo and start all over.. lol.. gnight.. er, i mean good morning.. or good afternoon.. wherever you may be

Thanks, you all.

I'm very upset this afternoon. I just received what I was hoping to be the final copy of the book.

It looks awful. Just terrible. The cover printed awfully. It is just god-awful and I'm about to cry.

My file was a good file... high resolution... I bought the front cover photo.

The back looks different than previous proofs I've purchased. The previous ones were fine. This one is NOT fine.

The interior pages of the book are also NOT fine. The earlier proof copies I purchased, I was very pleased with the artwork & photography reproduction. It looked good.

These are all pixelated and greyed out. I'm so upset.

OBVIOUSLY, lulu.com has zero quality control. It is clear to me as daylight that they are shipping out the files to various different printshop vendors to output the final product. Some are fine, some are not.

This is no good. It's not acceptable. I will get my money back for this copy and I will search the web until I find some other company to produce this book.

I'm sorry, folks. I'm a stickler for creating a good product. I can't possibly put this book out there for you.

I'm very disappointed.

Well on the bright side, at least the content file is as perfect as it can be now and so is the front cover. I love the front cover. I KNOW the interior CAN look good so there's that.

I just have to find the right POD service to output this for us.

More delays. How unfortunate.

I wish those people had a phone number so I could call them up and do my complaining over the telephone. This just sucks.

:( :( :(
