mindbum! ... didn't see your post.... glad you want to participate! yay!

.....

Still working on an upload spot .... will be in touch with all who want to participate soon!

.....

Was just thinking.... Beth is probably right... i'm leaning away from "cabaradio".... that was more for a stage show. We'll include it in the poll as hey, it's a name that's already been branded for a Studio Eight show, albeit a few years ago and for the stage ....

something new with a cooler ring to it might work better for radio

We originated the phrase "Word Jam" .... now several other sites use the phrase, but really we were the first to use it and I like the sound of that for radio .... maybe we should use that phrase in the title as Beth suggested in one of the suggestions.... hmmmm

anyway... here's a couple...

The Smooth Muse
(subtitle - music & word jam)

or

Freeway Jam
(subtitle - words & tunes)
just thought of that 'cause this the internet has been known as the internet superhighway

...

PS - branding is everything. ... the logo, getting the word out .... ahhh.. just thought of another one...

Word UP!
(subtitle - music & word jam)

I object to 'Jam'

the word is so overused and misused that it has no meaning
it signifies amateurism
in music it's called noodling

we could call it Noodle Radio

sounds kinda like Google

in the end, product is what sells, not brand
if they don't like the Tomato Soup, all the Andy Warhols in the world can't sell it to them

We can call it anything we want. We can change the name if we feel like it.

I say we move forward with the soup and not worry so much about the can.

of course Noodle Radio is already taken

that's another thing we should consider, needs to be unique to be searchable

We ARE going to move forward.

Soon people who have signed up will be getting log on info so they can upload their files.

The can is important, though. Very.

Packaging is everything.

...........

Thanks, Haro, for all the ideas!

We have a LOT now for a poll.

I think we should close the name-that-show thread and open a poll thread. Will do it soon.

In the meantime, will also work on the upload account so everybody can use it... make people their own folders, etc.

I think the 'dot TV' thing works well
remember this is not graphics
it's how it sounds
I think we should EMPHASIZE the DOT
