Ricky Gervais is a british comedy writer and stand up comic. (his show "the office" is one of my favourite british sitcoms since fawlty towers. it was taken over by a US production company, remade for US audiences and... well... but I don't know how well known Gervais himself is in the US)

this is a DVD extra on a stand up show of his that I bought called "politics" and it is a "talk" with one of his friends, Karl Pilkington.

I find this "innocence"? verging on idiotic idiocy (yes. THAT kind of idiocy.) rather endearing when it's genuine and I think this. may. be. genuine
