“Two dollars I paid for a French movie, for a foreign movie and I got to see this junk.”

I saw this in a theatre in the sixties; it was the short they showed before the start of the main feature, which was The Balcony, based on the Genet play. Peter Falk played the police commissioner he gave a patriotic speech that sounded a lot like the political speeches I am hearing these days.
