Why can't I get paid to write? It's on my mind when I wake in the morn, and the last thought that crosses my heart as I drift to sleep. I feel it every minute, the love of words and the only safe way to expose myself - so why can't I get paid to write? I entertain everybody I know, my kids to coworkers to family - all laugh and cry at my antics but I when I pen them the well runs dry and I am left to work a soulless job that pays the bills but leaves me little time to share what I have to give...I just want to write...

I hit writer's block in the worst way over the weekend - then I got back on track with a query letter today - I think - we will see what agents think, I suppose.
