Old post, I know, but it's a good memory all the same. One has to wonder how much of this matters in regards to today's issues. I'm thinking...a lot.

I live with news junkies, not the national or international news that much but the local eyewitness news, the murders especially. I moved here of my own free will. My brother who is a pretty good psychiatrist ,I think, told me I was crazy to give up my cozy crib and move in with my sister and brother in law to help with the bills. My sister glued to the TV during the whole trial. I think about a line from an old song, "look at them and know they love you"
Not sure what you meant, the economy does not matter?
What matters to me is the complete non issue with the events that transpired under the last Republican administration, as if they never happened as if George Bush had never been president, as if all trillions? of dollors wasted in Iraq and Afghanistan happened under Clinton and Obama. That is why I am so amazed that anyone can take the Republican party seriously.
